10:00 AM - 10:30 AM Lessons from FPSO conversions and compliance with UK – HSE Regulations

Conrad De Souza, Specialist Structural Integrity Inspector, HSE – Energy Division
Following the implementation of the European Offshore Safety Directive 2015, the UK –HSE is the regulatory authority that assesses Safety Case submissions by Duty Holders and grants Acceptance Letters necessary to proceed with operations. It further conducts follow-up inspections to ensure on- and offshore compliance of the Safety Case when in-service.

This presentation will explore a selection of the most important findings on structural integrity from Safety Case assessments (Non-Acceptance Issues) and offshore inspections, including current in-service issues and the latest codes and standards on the design and conversion of FPSOs on the UK Continental Shelf.
